General warranty terms
- The warranty covers HasWing electric motors of the following models: Comax, 2HP, Cayman, W20, Osapian series D 55/80/101LBS, Protruar, Ventura, Armada, Ultima. The guarantor is MARKOR sp.j., 26-340 Drzewica, ul. Braci Kobylańskich 5, Poland. It guarantees the removal of factory defects during the warranty period. The warranty covers defects arising during the manufacturing process due to causes inherent in the motor. Every motor must be operated and maintained in accordance with the user manual.
- This warranty is offered in addition to, and does not limit, the rights set out by current and future laws. In particular, it does not exclude, limit or suspend the consumer's rights arising from non-conformity of goods with the contract and from statutory warranty (rękojmia).
- The warranty covers products purchased in Poland from the Polish distributor. The warranty applies within the territory of the Republic of Poland and is granted to the Purchaser – a natural or legal person.
- Warranty liability covers product defects that cause it to malfunction.
- In order to process a complaint, the equipment being claimed must be delivered with its original serial number marking, together with a complaint submitted to the shop where the product was purchased or to the Multi-Com service centre. The claimed item should be sent to the service centre's address (the service centre address is stated on the warranty card), together with the original, legibly signed warranty card, a copy of proof of purchase, a description of the fault together with address details and a phone number for direct contact with the customer. The propeller with the mounting kit must be included with the motor being claimed.
- Malfunctions will be repaired free of charge within the shortest possible time agreed with the Purchaser, counted from the date the equipment is accepted for repair by the authorised service centre.
Warranty period
- The warranty period is 24 months.
- For Osapian and Osapian MAX motors, a service inspection must be carried out in month 23 or 24, but no later than the last day of month 24 from the date of purchase. This extends the warranty for a further 24 months.
- For Protruar 3.0, Protruar 4.0 motors and the Comax model, a service inspection must be carried out in month 11 or 12, but no later than the last day of month 12 from the date of purchase.
- For Armada motors, servicing must be carried out every 12 months or after 100 hours of operation.
- For Ultima motors, the warranty is 24 months for the motor and 12 months for the battery.
- When the motor is used for commercial purposes (e.g. by watercraft rental businesses) – the warranty period is 12 months
- The paid inspection must be carried out at the authorised service centre, Multi-Com, and confirmed with an appropriate entry in the warranty card.
- The buyer is responsible for observing the inspection deadlines. Failure to carry out the service inspection results in the warranty liability period ending after 24 months for the gear switch, brush holder, and moving parts of the mount and head.
- Depending on how often the motor is used, additional gearbox maintenance is recommended every few months. If the motor is used very frequently or commercially (e.g. rental businesses), gearbox maintenance should be performed more often.
Scope of the inspection
- The scope of work includes activities related to checking the technical condition of the motor.
- Any faults detected during the inspection must be repaired for the warranty period to be extended.
- Inspection costs for individual models are available on the authorised service centre's website: https://mc-sklep.pl/przeglad-gwarancyjny-koszt-pm-47.html
