Runtime calculator
Calculate how many hours you'll run: motor model + battery capacity + throttle. Estimate based on the manufacturer's maximum current draw.
Battery type (safe depth of discharge)
Estimated runtime
—
Estimate: current draw increases roughly with the cube of propeller speed (the propeller law). Actual runtime depends on the hull, wind, waves and temperature. Motors with a Maximizer draw only a fraction of maximum current at low throttle — which is why runtime while trolling can be up to 5× longer.
The result is the theoretical motor runtime at the selected throttle, calculated from the maximum current draw stated by the manufacturer and a safe battery depth of discharge. It does not account for battery efficiency, temperature, water resistance, wind or waves — actual runtime may vary.
